Tyler and Lauren first came to Nebraska around 15 years ago where they met while stationed at Offutt Air Force Base. Lauren served a total of 11 years of military service and Tyler is still serving out his active duty commitment. This mobile bar idea has been on the back of their minds for quite some time. Being surrounded with many entrepreneur family and friends they decided the timing was finally right and decided to go buy a 1998 Volkswagen horsetrailer and convert it to what is now called Rivets & Rye.
